What happens after that first heady kiss?

On one wild, windy day in November, the Singh sisters Nidhi, Avani, Sirisha, and Rani are about to find out in this follow-up to Drizzle, Dreams, and Lovestruck Things, a 2023 Children's Book Council Young Adult and Librarian Favorite.

After spending months studying abroad in India, Nidhi’s headed back to the Songbird Inn, eager to dish with her sisters over hot cocoa. But when her flight gets diverted because of a major windstorm, she’s stranded. However, she’s not the only one—a certain dreamy street artist is also scrambling for transport. They’d lost touch, but could this be a second chance?

Things have been rocky between Avani and Fernando, but they’re hoping to find their rhythm in a dance workshop. Until a power outage traps them in close quarters. Not again! This time it’s with the world’s most annoyingly perfect other couple. Barf.

After a breakup leaves her feeling lost, Sirisha enters the Jade Club and dons a whole new persona at a Prohibition-themed murder-mystery party. When a gorgeous femme fatale starts flirting, can Sirisha uncover what’s real and what’s just a game?

Rani is channeling all she’s learned about love into a new endeavor—creating a short film for a One Day Shoot-Out competition. But when her cast revolts from their (only slightly) dictatorial director, Rani might have to grit her teeth and team up with her biggest rival.

Relationships fall apart and come together. But through it all, there's one thing the Singhs can count on: their family will always be there for each other.
